Our charming Edwardian era hotel combines all the traditional warmth and comfort you’d expect from a glorious country house, but with all the contemporary features needed for a perfect break in the picturesque Norfolk countryside.
The hotel is located in Great Bircham and is ideally located close to Royal Sandringham and Houghton estates, as well as the North Norfolk coast and nature reserves. The charming and bustling towns of King’s Lynn and Fakenham are both just 20 mins away.

We have twelve comfortable rooms ay the King’s Head Country Hotel. All the rooms are decorated in a sensitive contemporary style and all benefit from being ensuite. Some rooms boast both a full-size bath as well as overhead showers. Given how generous our room sizes are, we can also accommodate extra guests, families, and pets.
We have a range of rooms that suits a range of budgets and tastes. Our standard room are ideal for those working away with ensuite shower rooms, whilst our Superior and Deluxe rooms offer more space and a few extra touches to make your stay a bit more special. Our sumptuous executive rooms have views of the expansive and rolling open countryside.
Our recently renovated restaurant offers a range of tantalising meals with an ever-changing menu to reflect not just the season, but the local area which offers an abundance of local produce. From breakfast, lunch, dinner or for those special occasions – afternoon tea – our talented chefs can’t wait to create some mouth-watering dishes for you.
